Simplify Sorting With Native Virtual Replica Support

Virtual replicas are now supported directly in the Shopify integration sort configuration UI. Merchants can select attributes and choose between standard and virtual replicas without manual setup. This eliminates the need for custom JavaScript, duplicate indices, and complex workflows previously required to manage sorting. The update reduces application size, simplifies configuration within Shopify, and removes a key blocker for teams managing large catalogs or storage limits. Click here to learn more.

Control Collection Page Merchandising With Dynamic Contexts

The Shopify integration now supports dynamic ruleContexts on collection and search pages, allowing merchandising rules to adapt based on context such as traffic source, campaign, or season. This enables different experiences for the same collection without modifying underlying data. Merchants can apply rules like pinning, boosting, filtering, or banners per context. Control Indexing and Merchandising in Adobe Commerce

v3.16 gives more control over indexing and merchandising. A new Indexing Manager centralizes visibility, reindexing, and dashboard access while making full indexing from indexer_reindex_all_invalid optional. Products and CMS pages can now be reindexed directly from grids, CLI tools give explicit control over full reindexing, and queue management now works without a separate crontab. Improving API Client SLA for Enhanced Flexibility and Customer Experience

An update to the API client SLA will provide customers with more flexibility and time to prepare for major version upgrades. The new SLA will cover both the current and the previous major version for two years following the release of a new version. This change addresses the current limitation where only the latest version was covered, which left many customers without SLA support when major versions with breaking changes were introduced. The updated SLA ensures customers have a predictable two-year window to upgrade, reducing the pressure for immediate updates and enabling better planning. This change is expected to improve customer satisfaction by offering clearer coverage and reducing support inquiries.
