DRR Revenue for Profitability Optimization

DRR Revenue reorders search results based on actual revenue contribution rather than clicks or conversions. This AI-driven ranking strategy allows businesses to surface high-value products and optimize for profitability without manual tuning. When activated, DRR Revenue works alongside Advanced DRR - enabling frequent updates and improved ranking precision for head queries. However, it is currently not designed to work in combination with Multi-Signal Ranking, as it only supports conversion-based optimization at this stage. Ideal for businesses with wide-ranging product prices, DRR Revenue helps shift focus from popularity to profitability, enabling more strategic, data-driven decisions that balance immediate performance with long-term growth. Multi-Signal Ranking is Now Generally Available

Multi-Signal Ranking introduces an advanced approach to search result optimization by leveraging multiple data signals. This enhancement allows organizations to refine search relevance by incorporating diverse factors such as product attributes, business KPIs, and user interactions. By balancing multiple ranking signals beyond just popularity - businesses can improve relevance, drive higher conversions, and align search results with strategic objectives. This capability extends Dynamic Re-Ranking, ensuring more unique queries benefit from optimized ordering. Organizations can now prioritize factors like product margins, fast shipping, and brand affinity while maintaining search relevance. The intuitive admin interface allows easy configuration of ranking strategies, with continuous learning adapting to new data for sustained optimization. Click here to learn more.

  • Hourly Refresh: DRR scores are now refreshed hourly, ensuring results reflect the latest user behavior and events (previously updated daily).
  • Multi-Facet Support: DRR now supports re-ranking for more than one browsing facet, allowing for more precise control over filtered searches (e.g., category and brand).

By participating in the public beta, Elevate customers can leverage these enhancements to achieve significant improvements in conversion rates.

Query Categorization Moves to Enhance Section

Query Categorization is relocated from the “Configure” to the “Enhance” section in the dashboard. Although the feature's location is changing, there are no alterations to the plans that have access to it or the available configuration options. This move clarifies the distinction between basic configuration and advanced enhancement features, making it easier for users to navigate and utilize the dashboard effectively.

Enhanced Explainability for NeuralSearch Results

Enhanced explainability for NeuralSearch results has been implemented, enabling customers to better understand why search results are presented and ordered as they are. Previously, the combination of multiple factors such as keyword matching, semantic understanding, and ranking factors made it challenging to discern the reasoning behind search result rankings. This update addresses that issue by introducing a new "Why were these results returned?" section on the search results page, providing a clear breakdown of the composition of the search results feed. Additionally, visual aids have been added to help understand the relative ranking of results. Enhanced explainability not only boosts confidence in search results but also provides actionable insights, ensuring a better user experience.
